Get the right result
Download a public Story or one specific snap
A profile link and a snap-specific Story link request different things. Use a profile link to find the active public Story, or copy the share link of an individual snap to request that exact item.
One Story snap
snapchat.com/add/USERNAME/SNAP_IDRequests only the matching snap. If it has expired, the tool does not replace it with a different snap.
Public profile
snapchat.com/@USERNAMEChecks the active public Story for that profile; it does not provide access to the creator’s private archive.
URL patterns above are examples, not live download links.
- Review each card separately: a Story may mix still images and video clips.
- Save a Story while it is still publicly available. A share URL does not preserve a snap after the creator removes it or it expires.
- For a saved Highlight, copy the Highlight’s own share link instead of expecting an active Story profile link to return older posts.
An empty result can mean there is no active public Story. It does not mean the profile’s friends-only content can be recovered.

Save it on your device
Choose Download on the result card and keep this tab open until the download starts. Your browser handles where the file is saved.
iPhone & iPad
Look in Safari’s downloads and the Files app. If the file opens in a player, use Share → Save Video or Save Image when that option is available.
Android
Check the browser’s Downloads list or your Files app. Photos and gallery apps may need a moment to show a newly downloaded file.
Windows & Mac
Use the browser’s download icon to locate the file. Check the chosen download folder if your browser did not ask where to save it.
